James Dean was killed in a car accident 61 years ago today on September 30, 1955 at the age of 24. Although he only starred in three films, he was one of the best actors of his generation.

Gone way too soon.


‘Deepwater Horizon’ Opens in Theaters


Mark Wahlberg’s new film Deepwater Horizon opens in theaters nationwide today.

It is based on the April 2010 explosion on the oil rig Deepwater Horizon which killed 11 crewmen and released thousands of gallons of petroleum into the Gulf of Mexico.

The movie also stars, Kate Hudson, Kurt Russell, John Malkovich, Gina Rodriguez, Dylan O’Brien and Ethan Suplee.

The “Final Five” gymnasts (minus Gabby Douglas who is healing from having her wisdom teeth removed), met President and Mrs. Obama at the White House on Thursday (September 29).

Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Laurie Hernandez and Madison Kocian, along with other members of the Team USA Olympians and Paralympians, were invited by the President and First Lady to celebrate and honor their success in Rio de Janiero this year.

Agnes Nixon, Creator of ‘All My Children,’ Dies at 93

Agnes Nixon, known as the queen of modern daytime soaps passed away in Wednesday (September 28) at the age of 93.

She was well known for creating the ABC soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live.

“I am devastated to hear about the passing of the beloved Agnes Nixon. I adored her and admired her – and I am forever grateful to her,” said Susan Lucci, who played Erica Kane on All My Children.
