Actress Debbie Reynolds, who was hospitalized Wednesday after suffering a stroke, has passed away at the age of 84.
The announcement was made by her son Todd Fisher.
Reynolds died just a day after the death of her daughter Carrie Fisher.
She married singer Eddie Fisher in 1955 (divorced in 1959) and had two children, Carrie and Todd.
Some of her best known film performances include Singin’ in the Rain, Tammy and the Bachelor, The Unsinkable Molly Brown and the TV movie Halloweentown.
