On April 14, 1912, the RMS Titanic hit an iceberg at 11:40pm while en route to New York City from Southampton, England.

Two hours and forty minutes after the collision, the largest ship in the world (at that time) which was said to be “unsinkable,” sank at 2:20am on April 15.

Today, we remember the 1,503 souls who perished in the Atlantic 105 years ago.
