Spider-Man: Homecoming opened in theaters this past weekend, surpassing expectations.
It grossed $117 million domestically, with a total of $257 million worldwide.
The Marvel Studios and Sony reboot stars Tom Holland (who made his debut in Captain America: Civil War) as the web-crawling superhero, Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes/Vulture and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.
The film features an ensemble cast including Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier and Tony Revolori.
Additionally, Jon Favreau, Gwenyth Paltrow and Chris Evans reprise their roles as Harold “Happy” Hogan, Pepper Potts and Steve Rogers/Captain America, respectively, from previous MCU films. Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee, of course, makes a cameo appearance.
