Today marks 62 years since James Dean was killed in a car accident on September 30, 1955.

Although he had only made three films, he is known to be one of the greatest actors of his time.

Playboy Founder Hugh Hefner passes away at 91


Hugh Hefner, founder of Playboy magazine in the 1950s which became an empire and a part of pop culture history, passed away at his Playboy Mansion on Wednesday. He was 91.

In a statement to E! News, Playboy confirmed, “Hugh M. Hefner, the American icon who in 1953 introduced the world to Playboy magazine and built the company into one of the most recognizable American global brands in history, peacefully passed away today from natural causes at his home, The Playboy Mansion, surrounded by loved ones.”

‘Family Matters’ cast reunites

The cast of Family Matters: Reginald VelJohnson (Carl Winslow), Jo Marie Payton (Harriette Winslow), Darius McCrary (Eddie Winslow), Kellie Shanygne Williams (Laura Winslow), Jaleel White (Steve Urkel), Thelma Hopkins (Rachel Crawford), Bryton McClure (Richie Crawford) and Shawn Harrison (Waldo Geraldo Faldo), came together for Entertainment Weekly’s Reunion exclusive.


In a tribute to Rosetta LeNoire, who played Estelle Winslow (Carl’s mother, AKA “Mother Winslow”), the cast posed with a photo of her. LeNoire passed away in March 2002.


Absent from the reunion was Jaimee Foxxworth who played youngest sister Judy Winslow during the first four seasons of the television series.

Family Matters aired on ABC from September 22, 1989 to May 9, 1997 and moved to CBS during its last season from September 19, 1997 to July 17, 1998.

DiCaprio and Scorsese’s Theodore Roosevelt biopic in the works


The long-awaited Theodore Roosevelt biopic starring Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Martin Scorsese is finally happening.

Paramount Pictures is set to distribute Roosevelt, based on the life of the 26th President of the United States.


DiCaprio, along with Jennifer Davisson, will produce through Appian Way (DiCaprio’s production company.

‘Tomb Raider’ reboot trailer debuts

The first official trailer for the Tomb Raider reboot was released on Tuesday.

Alicia Vikander stars as heroine Lara Croft, based on the 2013 video game. It follows a younger version of Lady Croft than previously shown in the films (Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life) starring Angelina Jolie.

Tomb Raider is expected to be released on March 16, 2018.

Linda Hamilton will return to ‘Terminator’ franchise

Sarah Connor will be back.

Linda Hamilton is set to make her return as Sarah Connor in an upcoming Terminator sequel, her first appearance as the iconic character since 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Creator James Cameron, who will only return as producer, announced the news at a private event to celebrate the franchise and stated the film will be a “direct sequel” to Judgement Day.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is also tied to the project, which is scheduled to be released in 2019.
