“Are you ready to go back to Titanic?”

It’s been nearly 20 years since the love story between Jack and Rose sailed into our hearts and history, and now you can relive their romance aboard the unsinkable ocean-liner with the re-release of Titanic.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dolby Laboratory (in partnership with Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Fox), announced Wednesday morning that James Cameron’s epic blockbuster will be released in select AMC Theatres for a one-week run beginning December 1st, to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Cameron said in a statement, “We mastered a few minutes of Titanic in Dolby Vision and I was stunned. It was like seeing it for the first time. Now that the entire film as been mastered, I’m excited to share it with audiences across the U.S.

“This is beyond 3D, beyond 70mm, it’s beyond anything you’ve ever seen before,” he concluded.

It’s been two decades since the release of Titanic, but Kate Winslet is set to collaborate with James Cameron again in the upcoming sequels to his blockbuster film Avatar.

“Kate and I have been looking for something to do together for 20 years, since our collaboration on ‘Titanic,’ which was one of the most rewarding of my career,” said Cameron. “I can’t wait to see her bring the character of Ronal to life.”

The first of four sequels to Avatar is expected to open in theaters on December 18, 2020.

The 2009 fantasy film made $2.8 billion dollars worldwide during its run, making it the highest grossing movie of all time, surpassing Cameron’s previous Oscar-winning epic, Titanic, starring Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Titanic is celebrates its 20th anniversary this December.

Winslet will next be seen in The Mountain Between Us, opposite Idris Elba, which opens in theaters this Friday.

Is there anyway Leo can get on board (no pun intended) with these sequels? That would make this reunion complete!

It’s been nearly 20 years since the world fell in love the love story of Rose and Jack in 1997’s Titanic, and then the friendship between costars Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio has been a love we will never let go of.

While promoting her new film The Mountain Between Us at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival, Winslet reminisced with Entertainment Weekly and PEOPLE on the bond she shared with the cast and crew of the Oscar-winning film, especially with DiCaprio.

“I remember so much of it like it was yesterday,” she said.

“I think the most special thing, the best memory I have, really was the cast and the lovely crew. For me that’s one of the best things about being in this business is getting to work with incredible technicians who are always great, committed, professional, fun people to spend time with and to go to work with, and we really had that on Titanic. And, of course, I walked away with one of the greatest friendships of my life in my back pocket, which is Leo. We know each other in a very unique way, I think, because of the experience we both had on that film and having to take care of one another.”

‘Titanic’ flying scene voted top movie kiss

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winselt’s kiss in James Cameron’s blockbuster film Titanic has been voted the best movie kiss of all time, in a poll by the TLC network.

The scene where Jack Dawson (DiCaprio) takes Rose DeWitt Bukater (Winselt) “flying” on the bow of the doomed oceanliner has become one of the most iconic moments in cinematic history since its release in 1997.

Happy Birthday Kate Winslet!

Happy Birthday Kate Winslet!

The Oscar-winning English Rose turns 41 today (October 5th)!

Just like Leonardo DiCaprio is my favorite actor (because of Titanic), Kate Winslet is my favorite actress. I just love watching them act together in Titanic and Revolutionary Road, as well as seeing them together at awards shows, most recently at this year’s Academy Awards when every fan (including myself) went crazy with excitement to see Jack and Rose 🙂

Check out some of their “cutest moments” on Instyle.com here!

Winslet is currently filming a Woody Allen drama alongside Justin Timberlake in New York City.
